Thomas Law is an assistant professor and chief of the Division of Speech Therapy at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He has over 20 years of experience in treating children and adults who stutter and has applied the Lidcombe Program for English, Cantonese, and Mandarin-speaking children in Australia, Hong Kong, and China. Thomas teaches courses on fluency disorders at various universities in Hong Kong and regularly speaks at professional development events focused on stuttering in Greater China. In 2025, he introduced the Lidcombe Program to Mainland China. Thomas received his PhD from the Australian Stuttering Research Centre at the University of Sydney, where his research examined the topography and linguistic characteristics of stuttering.
