Valerie is a registered speech and language therapist in Singapore and an Associate Professor in the speech and language therapy program, Singapore Institute of Technology. She has over 20 years of clinical experience working with individuals who stutter of all ages. Valerie completed her PhD at the Australian Stuttering Research Centre, and her research focuses on the assessment and treatment of bilinguals who stutter. She holds ongoing research grants and has publications in scientific journals and textbooks. Valerie teaches stuttering and continues to mentor students and speech therapists in Singapore and region.
